Revenue from Autos & Parts on an Upswing
The Federation of Thai Industries' Automotive Industry Club forecasts the revenue of local auto-parts manufacturers will increase by 40 per cent this year on average. The rise will be due to expected output of 1.4 million autos, up from nearly 1 million last year.
Club spokesman, Mr. Surapong Paisitpatnapong said local auto-parts manufacturers had resumed recruitment of skilled laborers, at 80 per cent of those laid off since early last year. The club expects heavy demand for workers throughout the automotive industry.
